what are the best paying affiliate programs from any catagory or company?
i want to write a blog for the first time and add afiliates for income but i am not sure which ones pay the best.
also, i am interested in writing a product review blog for local restaurants, products and services. do you know anything about merchants paying to put a banner on your blog?

Well you can start with a free blog at wordpress.com or blogger.com. You can also then go to websites like affiliatescout.com to find affiliate programs in any category as you proposed. Also you can sign up for a Google Adsense account, google.com/adsene so that you can put ads sponsored Google on your website. You can also apply for a Kontera account at: kontera.com and you can also place their content ads on your website and make money.
These banners can be achieved through Adsense and Kontera and there are also tons of other programs that pay for ads online too but start there they are the most common and are quite simple.
