That happens sometimes… Here’s the story to start with I am not a very known Internet Marketer and really hardly anyone knows me except for the several small lists I maintain. Here is what happened. Today I was watching The Gateway To Wealth Seminar live online and was in the chatroom chatting with others during the breaks between speakers and lunch.

I was telling everyone about not promoting Butterfly 2.0 and referred with DM to this blog those that wanted to know more about the posts I wrote concerning why I was not promoting Butterfly two. After all this who pops in to check out how things were going with the seminar. It’s Mike himself and not thinking I started apologizing for not promoting Butterfly. He comes back and says I don’t know you why do you keep apologizing to me you don’t owe me an apology I don’t even know you. Well at that moment I felt about 1″ tall. So typing as fast as I could I made an attempt to let him know that I wanted to promote Butterfly but that I couldn’t…

I didn’t have an opportunity to explain the why I couldn’t but did get across that I wasn’t slamming his product I also let him know I was on his VIP list and mentioned the name of the person that handles his VIP’S for him which did soften him up a little. Whewww talk about getting hammered he came down hard and fast. I see why he is where he is in Internet Marketing. Let me tell you he is one smart individual that thinks on his feet and fast! It isn’t Mikes fault it’s totally mine because he really didn’t have a clue about the earlier chats. What was I thinking? I know better than that! For all Mike knew I was flaming his product which I would never do. To Mikes credit he has hundreds of thousands on his email list and he couldn’t possibly know everyone. I hope that Mike Filsaime doesn’t look at me like that idiot that was apologizing to him in chat the other day. Maybe someday soon he and others will recognize me as a legitimate Internet Marketer because I am somewhat successful just not very well known….

With that said I hope you have gained something from this post. Like they say we learn from our mistakes. I know I have and I hope you have gained some insight from my huge mistake.

I think that I have really done it this time. What is it You ask? The reason why is because I’ve opened my mouth and inserted foot. I’ve asked myself over and over again a thousand times why did I have to see those patterns in my posts I told you about in my last post titled: “Butterfly 2.0 Caused Me To Make Changes To This Post.” I really do think Butterfly 2.0 will be the best launch on the Internet ever. Maybe not the most hits, traffic or sales but the best quality and it very well could even set a record for sales. It’s without any question in my mind going to help many people achieve success on the Internet and I want to put my affiliate link up for you to get it from me so bad I can taste it. You see I think that if I would have promoted this with my affiliate link it would have been the most successful affiliate promotion I have ever done.

Don’t kid yourself I tried rationalizing how I could post my link up for Butterfly 2.0 and have you and all the other readers of this blog understand and accept a reason why. But I can’t do it I’m not going to compromise what I promised even for one of the thousands of good reasons I can think of. A promise is a promise and I’m sticking to it even though it’s killing me to do it. It’s funny how you can rationalize almost anything if you want it bad enough. I am most definitely going to get my copy. If you want to grab it I’ll give you some advice don’t get it from the first affiliate that offers it. Looking back on the most recent posts this blog has had in the past couple of weeks has caused me to arrive at a much thought about decision concerning further posting. As I was reading through all of the posts that I have made from day one something was nagging at me and I couldn’t put my finger on it. This was really bugging me! So I went back and started scanning all the posts again trying to figure out what was bothering me about these posts. I still couldn’t figure out what it was that was bothering me. Then it finally hit me after I got this email from Mike Filsaime today. I am one of Mikes VIP members and a JV partner. That’s not what this is about though.

The email Mike sent me was concerning the promotion of his new Butterfly Marketing 2.0 home study course as an affiliate. Naturally I got all excited and pumped up and went to his JV site to look over all the material concerning the Butterfly 2.0 launch. After looking over what he is offering for basically peanuts I was ready to rush off and post here what I feel is the next best thing to sliced bread. Here’s the part where I finally realized what was bothering me. Keep in mind I’m all fired up about this offer for you and everyone else reading my blog postings. While organizing my thoughts concerning Butterfly 2.0 to prepare to write my post promoting Mikes launch it hit me and I stopped dead in my tracks.

Looking at the previous posts I got an ugly picture of someone trying to sell this and sell that and anything they can sell to make a dollar. This blog started looking to me like one commercial post after another like so many websites and blogs you see on the Internet every day. That’s when I decided at that moment not to write the post promoting Butterfly 2.0 and to write this one instead.

To tell you the truth I am not promoting Butterfly 2.0 and it is with much regret. Do I think it is a good product? Yes without question and I say that as I feel I am qualified to make that statement and here is why. I am an owner of Butterfly 1.0 I have seen what has been revised and all the new cutting edge features in 2.0 and it is bigger, better and badder than the former 1.0 which is hard to beleive.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I have been promoting something or other in almost every post I would have most definitely posted Butterfly 2.0 with my affiliate link.
