What is launch blindness? Launch blindness is my definition of being exposed to so many launches of all kinds that one becomes numb and or unresponsive to the next big thing coming out. A good example of that would be a couple of years ago or so banner ads was the hottest thing on the Internet the flashier and bigger the banner was the more response it got. We were hammered with banner ads of all shapes and sizes with banner ad after banner ad so much so that folks just started turning them off and ignoring them mentally.

The banner ads even earned a new term coined ad blindness or becoming ad blind after they became so unresponsive. Now it seems that everyone has the so called “Ad Blindness” So much so that legitimate offers are being passed on. The next time you see an offer that looks interesting take a minute and consider that you very well may be passing up on a real once in a lifetime  opportunity.

I have some very sad news today. This is very hard for me to even
write this because I hurt so bad. But I have to vent and I hope all
of you will understand. My Mother had a stroke Sunday and I just
found out about it yesterday Wednesday afternoon.

My whole world came crashing down on me yesterday and my dream of
being a successful internet marketer has been shattered. The whole
reason for my making it on the internet was to give Mom anything and
everything she could ever want or need in her final years.

I have failed all I’ve managed to do is go deeper in debt and work a
full time job adding on two part time jobs. The money I know that can
be made as an online marketer has never happened for me.

Over the past several years I’ve made several thousand dollars with
affiliate sales and some of my own products. But I can’t honestly say
that there has been even 1 successful launch like many of the everyday
folks claim making $15,000 in 48 hours and bank statements showing
$48,500 in profits in one month and the like.

It’s been almost 5 years I’ve worked very hard trying to make a comfortable
living online. I don’t want to be a guru and make millions or even a
million isn’t necessary. Several hundred thousand dollars of profit
a year and to help others would be okay with me.

I’m sorry for bothering all of you with my pain. But I feel much
better after venting and if nothing else this has been good therapy
for me! THANK YOU!!

Over the next several days I’ll be taking some time to decide if I will
continue with internet marketing which has been a passion for me until
now. At this point as I feel today somehow the passion and drive is no
longer there.

Looking back on the most recent posts this blog has had in the past couple of weeks has caused me to arrive at a much thought about decision concerning further posting. As I was reading through all of the posts that I have made from day one something was nagging at me and I couldn’t put my finger on it. This was really bugging me! So I went back and started scanning all the posts again trying to figure out what was bothering me about these posts. I still couldn’t figure out what it was that was bothering me. Then it finally hit me after I got this email from Mike Filsaime today. I am one of Mikes VIP members and a JV partner. That’s not what this is about though.

The email Mike sent me was concerning the promotion of his new Butterfly Marketing 2.0 home study course as an affiliate. Naturally I got all excited and pumped up and went to his JV site to look over all the material concerning the Butterfly 2.0 launch. After looking over what he is offering for basically peanuts I was ready to rush off and post here what I feel is the next best thing to sliced bread. Here’s the part where I finally realized what was bothering me. Keep in mind I’m all fired up about this offer for you and everyone else reading my blog postings. While organizing my thoughts concerning Butterfly 2.0 to prepare to write my post promoting Mikes launch it hit me and I stopped dead in my tracks.

Looking at the previous posts I got an ugly picture of someone trying to sell this and sell that and anything they can sell to make a dollar. This blog started looking to me like one commercial post after another like so many websites and blogs you see on the Internet every day. That’s when I decided at that moment not to write the post promoting Butterfly 2.0 and to write this one instead.

To tell you the truth I am not promoting Butterfly 2.0 and it is with much regret. Do I think it is a good product? Yes without question and I say that as I feel I am qualified to make that statement and here is why. I am an owner of Butterfly 1.0 I have seen what has been revised and all the new cutting edge features in 2.0 and it is bigger, better and badder than the former 1.0 which is hard to beleive.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I have been promoting something or other in almost every post I would have most definitely posted Butterfly 2.0 with my affiliate link.
